We haven't yet chosen a topic or a speaker. What would you like to learn about? In the course of the year, we offer eight hours of in-service training.- four hours of language teaching techniques or curriculum topics
- four hours of refugee resettlement topics, including updates on overseas developments, new populations, health, benefits, cultural information, etc.

I am interested in learning more about the resettlement process in terms of how the resettlement agencies respond to post-resettlement issues that impact our jobs as tutors: e.g., vocational rehabilitation, legal advice, long-term care for the disabled and the elderly, counseling, citizenship, etc.
